Mr. Shamim Ahmad Khan is associated with the Company as a Non-executive Director, He has served various government organizations in different capacities namely Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and Ministry of Commerce (MoC).
He has also been engaged with consultancy assignments for Asian Development Bank and other organizations. Currently, Mr. Khan is serving as director of Abbott Laboratories Pakistan Limited and IGI Holdings Limited (Formerly IGI Insurance Limited). He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of Centre for International Private Enterprise Pakistan.
Syed Hyder Ali, graduated from University of Michigan, USA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1979. He completed his Master of Science in June 1981, specializing in paper chemistry. In 1997, Mr. Ali also attended the program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.
Chief Executive and Managing Director, Packages Ltd. Mr. Ali has wide and varied professional working experience spanning over many years in paper production, conversion and packaging. Mr. Ali has been involved in the development and implementation of processes for the pulp and paper mill at Packages Ltd. using wheat straw as a raw material. He is the co-author of two USA patents for the recycling of milk and juice cartons.
Mr. Ali serves on the Board of a number of Companies like Bulleh Shah Paper Mill (Private) Limited, IGI Holdings Limited (Formerly IGI Insurance Limited), Nestlé Pakistan Limited, Packages Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan Limited, Tetra Pak Pakistan Limited, Tri-Pack Films Limited and International Steel Limited (ISL).
He is a member of the Board of Governors/Directors of WWF- Pakistan, Babar Ali Foundation (BAF), National Management Foundation (NMF), Ali Institute of Education (AIE), Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP), and Pakistan Business Council (PBC). He is also a Member of the Executive / Management Committee of Syed Maratib Ali Religious and Charitable Trust Society, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Pakistan.
Mr. Ali is married with three children. He is the Honorary Consul General of Sweden in Lahore since 1998.
Mr. Atif Aslam Bajwa joined the board in 2018. Mr. Bajwa served as the Chief Executive Officer at Bank Alfalah Limited since October 27, 2011 until July 25, 2017 and served as its President since November 2011 until July 25, 2017 and served as its Executive Director since October 25, 2011 until July 25, 2017. He has over 30 years of experience in banking both within and outside Pakistan. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Soneri Bank Limited until March 14, 2011. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of MCB Bank Ltd. from May 2007 to June 2010. He joined MCB Bank in May 2007. In early 2005, he joined Dubaiwith Mashreqbank to manage the retail banking group, which has presence across the Middle East. In mid 2001, he returned to Citibank as the Regional Head for Central and Eastern Europe. He joined ABN AMRO Bank in end-1993 and was appointed Country Manager of Pakistan in 1995. In 1998, he moved to Singaporea's the Consumer Banking Head for Asia Pacific covering operations in nine countries and spearheaded the acquisition of new consumer banking operations in four Asian markets. He moved to ABN AMRO's Head office in Amsterdam as an Executive Vice President until 2000, responsible for global business development. He started his career at Citibank Pakistan as a Corporate Banker in 1982 and handled different relationship and unit head roles in Pakistan before moving to assignments first in New York and then Bahrain as a Senior Member of the Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance Unit for the Gulf Markets. He serves as the Chairman at Pakistan Business Council. He also serves on the Boards of Alfalah Insurance Company Limited, Taavun (Pvt) Ltd., The Institute of Bankers Pakistan, Board of Investment and Pakistan International Airline Corporation. He also serves as a Director of Karachi School of Business & Leadership of WWF Pakistan and MCB Asset Management Company Limited. He serves as a Director of Khushhali Bank Limited. He has been a Non-Executive Director at Pakistan International Airlines Corporation since September 27, 2013. He has been a Director of Pakistan Business Council since March 5, 2013. He served as an Independent Director at Abbott Laboratories (Pakistan) Limited since April 16, 2014 until May 26, 2015. He served as a Director at Adamjee Insurance Company Limited. He served as a Director of Wateen Telecom Limited. He is also a Member of Advisory Committee of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Pakistan Business Council and Asian Food Industries. Mr. Bajwa received a Bachelor degree in Economics from the Columbia University.
Mr. Iftikhar is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP); he is currently serving one of the leading business groups of the country in the capacity of Chief Investment Officer; where he is responsible for portfolio management, performance measurement and is also supporting Group strategy team. Mr. Iftikhar has also developed expertise in taxation, financial management, business planning, financial reporting and business valuations. Over the years, Mr. Iftikhar has the experience of managing sizable teams and delivering on human capital development agenda of the organizations served by him. He has also been awarded as Young Role Model by ICAP during the year 2013.
Mr. Tahir Masaud is the Chief Executive Officer of IGI Holdings Limited (Formerly IGI Insurance Limited) as well as IGI General Insurance Limited. He is also a Director on the Board of IGI Life Insurance Limited. Mr. Masaud brings with him over 17 years of rich and varied experience gained in senior leadership positions within the general insurance sector in Pakistan and United Kingdom. His background includes sales and marketing administration, product development and project management.
He is a Chartered Insurer with an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) from Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom. Mr. Masaud has completed his post graduations in Computer Sciences and Business Administration from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan. He has attended numerous professional development programs in Pakistan, United Kingdom and Germany.
