Code of conduct

In order to ensure that our business dealings continue to remain transparent and highest level of ethical standards are maintained in all our operations and processes, in addition to the IGI Code of Conduct, an alternate channel has been provided to employees to report any deviations observed, under whistle blowing policy.

Under this policy, complaints can be anonymously reported to Mr. Shamim Ahmad Khan, Director, IGI Insurance at shamim.ahmadkhan@gmail.com, who is the Chairman Audit Committee for IGI Insurance.

Once notified of an issue / concern, the Audit Committee Chairman will:

  • be responsible to ensure that concerns raised are taken seriously
  • where appropriate, investigate properly and make an objective assessment of the concern
  • keep the employee advised of progress
  • be responsible to ensure that the action necessary to resolve a concern is taken.

It is important for employees to understand that there will be no adverse repercussions for bringing a matter to the attention of the Audit Committee Chairman.
